Founded by Katlynn Butler in 2020 with the idea of improving the everyday sun shirt for better UV defense, while still focusing on comfort and fit. Katlynn grew up traveling the east coast showing hunter/jumpers. Now her focus has shifted to growing Chic EQ into the brand she always imagine there needing to be in the market; comfortable, well fitting, effortlessly chic, and accessible.
